According to IQNA’s Europe branch, it has been mounted by the city’s Islamic University.
Tens of rare Quran manuscripts, including those in Othmani and Samarqand Kufic scripts have been put on display at the exhibition, public relations office of the university said.
It was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by the university officials and students, staff of Russia’s Muftiat Council, representatives from Russia’s Islamic institutions and representatives from embassies of a number of Muslim countries.
The exhibited copies of the Quran are kept at Tala Sheikh Mosque in the city of Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
