New Mosque to Be Built in Lithuania

A new mosque will be constructed in Karolinishkes region of Vilnius’ Naujininkai District in the Republic of Lithuania.

“The exact location of the mosque has not been finalized yet”, said the head of Lithuanian Muslim Mufti Romas Jakubauskas. But most likely, it will be built in the centre of Karolinishkes.
Currently, Muslims in the region are forced to pray in the building of Spiritual Administration of Lithuania Muslims, on A.Vivulske Street.
In Lithuania there are four mosques namely, in Kaunas, Nemezhise, in village “forty Tartars” and in Rayzhyay.
