If someone learns the truth and acknowledges it, God will support him with all the forces of the universe.
This is according to seminary and university scholar Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Tqai Fa’alli, while speaking at the 11th session of a series of forums on faith-based lifestyle.
The session was held at the Iranian Academics Quranic Activities Organization on Monday, April 16.
He added that the heart of bad people is impervious to the truth and such a person stands against the truth.
Hojat-ol-Islam Fa’alli also referred to the 20 first verses of Surah Al-Baqara and said that in these verses human beings are divided into three groups: the God-fearing (Muttaqin), the disbelievers (Kuffar) and the hypocrites (Munafiqun).
The scholar elaborated on the characteristics of the first group and said that according to the Quran, the God-fearing are those who have faith in the Ghayb (unseen), say prayers, and give alms.
He pointed to salvation and said every human being gains salvation in accordance to his benevolence and mercy towards others.
Hojat-ol-Islam Fa’alli further said human beings gain belief in the World of Ghayb through two ways: either through the intellect and through Shohud (intuition) or by trusting what God has said.
“Those who believe in the World of Ghayb because God has said there is such a word have a very sublime status. In fact, the essence of believing in the World of Ghayb is faith in God.”
The cleric further pointed verse 6 of Surah Al-Baqara “” and said the disbelievers’ heart is like a stone in that it is impervious to the truth.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Fa’alli underlined the importance of having great objectives in life,
He said goals are either attainable or not and those that are attainable are divided into short-term and long-term goals.
One of the characteristics of the faithful is that they have sublime goals and in order to get to their goals, they take small but steady steps.
“In fact, for the God-fearing people (Muttaqin), God is the ultimate objective in all aspects of life and on their path to this objective, they (the God-fearing) remain steadfast.”
