Ali Akbar Hanifi, one of the country’s Quran experts who has served as a member of jury panel in several international Quran competitions, made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that there are some 100,000 mosques in the country whose Quran instruction sessions can help to promote the Quraic culture.
He noted that in order to develop Quranic activities in the country, there needs to be planning from kindergartens to universities.
“There is also a need for appropriate management as well as cooperation among related organizations,” Hanifi pointed out.
He stressed that appropriate management and indirect supervision of Quranic sessions will lead to the improvement of Quranic teaching sessions.
The veteran Quran activist went on to say that the activities of Quranic institutes and Quran teaching sessions should be evaluated and suggestions be made for improving their performance.
