Dushanbe to Host Quran Reading Contest

Dushanbe in early May will host a national Quran reading contest, Avesta.tj reported April 19, quoting Daler Djabborov, assistant to the rector of the Islamic Institute of Tajikistan (IIT).
IIT, a four-year university, will conduct the contest jointly with the International Association of Quran Readers of Saudi Arabia, Djabborov said.
The maximum age for contestants will be 25, he said, and Saudi judges will help select the winners.
