Fiqh Glossary to Be Published
The Center for Islamic Information and Documents has compiled a glossary of Fiqhi (jurisprudential) terms.
The glossary, which includes nearly 51000 terms related to jurisprudential issues, is planned to be published in the near future.
It has been compiled after experts of the center consulted with senior Faqihs (jurisprudents) and scholars like Ayatollah Salehi-Mazandarani, Ayatollah Mamduhi, Ayatollah Khaefi, and others.
Then, from among some 4000 jurisprudential books, 500 were selected and catalogued by the experts and the jurisprudential terms were extracted from these sources and listed thematically.
Some 64000 terms were listed and organized in electronic formats and then 51495 of them were selected for publication.
The terms will be sorted in alphabetical order to facilitate the work of researchers who use the work.
