Tehran Int’l Book Fair to Open on April 30

The 26th International Book Fair in Tehran will be inaugurated in a ceremony with the participation of the Iranian president on April 30.
According to the public relations and information office of the exhibition's organzing committee, the opening ceremony of the book fair will be held with the participation of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of the Islamic Republic, Husseini, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, members of the Majlis and a number of scholars and literary figures.
Ali Esma’ili, in charge of the exhibition affairs, said that the program will begin at 5 p.m. local time at the southern section of Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) in the capital city.
He added that members of the Cultural Commission of the Majlis have also been invited to attend the program.
The 26th International Book Fair in Tehran will host visitors from May 1 to 11.
