Top Quran Exegeses by Shia Scholars to Be Translated into Different Languages

The Al-Mustafa International University plans to translate the best interpretations of the Quran by Shia scholars into different languages.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hossein Rafei, director of the university’s Quranic Teachings and Culture Department made the announcement in an interview with IQNA, adding that the department also plans to develop Quran memorization activities in the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).
He said that holding Quran memorization courses both in the country and in other countries will be supported.
Noting that there are some 230 Dar-ol-Quran centers affiliated to Al-Mustafa International University in Iran and many other countries, he said the number will rise in the current year.
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Rafei, equipping the Dar-ol-Quran centers and enhancing their educational programs are among other plans of the department for this year.
He further said that the university will organize another edition of the International Quran and Hadith Olympiad this year.
This Olympiad, 18 editions of which have been held so far, is an important international Olympiad that is annually held with the motto of the year, selected by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as its main theme, Hojat-ol-Islam Rafei went on to say.
