Preliminary Meetings of “Martyr Motahhari’s Philosophical Thoughts” Int’l Conference

The second preliminary meeting of the international conference on Martyr Motahhari’s philosophical thoughts will be held on May 2 at Dar-ol-Shefa School in the holy city of Qom.

Talking to IQNA, Alipour, secretary general of the conference said that the first preliminary meeting was held for women on April 25 at Jamiat-ol-Zahra Seminary School with the participation of Ayatollah Ahmad Beheshti and Ahmad Ahmadi.
Ayatollah Mesbah will attend the second preliminary meeting, he added.
Alipour further stated that 400 abstract papers have been sent to the secretariat of the conference, nad that they are being evaluated by a team of experts. April 9 was the deadline for sending abstract papers to the conference.
Martyr Motahhari Cultural-Scientific Foundation affiliated to the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution and Supreme Assembly of Islamic Wisdom will organize the international conference.
It will be held in November on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the publication of the scholar’s book entitled “Principles of Philosophy and the Method of Realism” .
Theology, logic, epistemology and ontology will be the themes to be investigated at the specialized section of the program.
The deadline for sending full papers is May 22 and June 22 respectively for those residing in Iran and abroad.
