Iranian Master Teaches Adhan in Algeria
An Iranian master has been invited to teach Adhan (call to prayer) to Algeria’s young muezzins.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, this was announced by Algeria’s Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Bu Abdullah Ghulamullah.
Ghulamullah was speaking about his ministry’s religious plans at a conference held in Algiers’ Al-Mujahid conference center.
He said the ministry has invited the Iranian Adhan master as part of its efforts to organize how Adhan is played in mosques during the five times of prayers.
This seems to have worried some Algerian papers like Al-Bilad and Al-Ahrar that have warned about the so-called danger from the spread of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) school in Algeria (!)
