Malaysia Nat’l Quran Competition Postponed

The 56th National-Level Tilawah Al-Quran or Quran Reciters Assembly scheduled to be held in Kota Baru, Kelantan from May 2 to 5 has been postponed to another date to be announced later.

The Malaysia Islamic Development Department (Jakim) in a statement on Monday said the postponement was due to polling day for the 13th general election taking place on May 5.
The postponement was decided at a meeting of the Tilawah Al-Quran main committee.
