Quran Memorization Contest in Southern France
The third edition of a Quran memorization competition will be held in southern France on Sunday, May 6.
According to Oumma website, the contest is held on the sidelines of the annual gathering of Muslims in southern France.
Titled “Muslims’ Presence in Society and Challenges Ahead”, the assembly will be larger than those held in previous years.
It will include forums and roundtable discussions with the participation of France’s Muslim thinkers.
There will also be an exhibition of Islamic economy products mounted in a 2000-meter plot of land.
The annual gathering of Muslims in Southern France is held at Chanot Park Amphitheater in the city of Marseille.
