United Stand against American-Zionist Arrogance Necessary
Religious and political figures in Lebanon in separate statements condemned the Zionist regime’s invasion of Syria.
According to Al-Minar TV Network, they urged the Muslim Ummah to adopt a united stand against the American- Zionist arrogance.
Secretary General of Lebanon’s Al-Ummah Movemnet Sheikh Abdul-Nasser Al-Jabri denounced Israeli attack on Syria and said it was aimed at creating instability in the region.
He said the invasion was not only an act of aggression against Syria but against the entire Muslim Ummah.
Sheikh Al-Jabri called on the Syrian people to maintain the Syrian nation to maintain unity and stand against the Zionist regime.
Muhammad Raed, head of the “Devotion to Resistance” Fraction in Lebanon’s Parliament said the Zionist invasion proved that the Takfiri-terrorist plan and the Zionist regime’s plan are actually one and the same.
Vice-chairman of the executive council of Lebanon's Hezbollah movement Sheikh Nabil Qavouq also condemned the attack and said whoever fights against the Syrian government is serving the Israeli objectives and plans.
He also underlined that there are no problems between Shia and Sunni Muslims but Shi’ites and Sunnis have problems with Takfiri groups (those considering their fellow Muslims as infidels) who committed a heinous crime by exhuming the grave of Hujr Ibn Uday.
Mufti of Sidon Sheikh Salim Sousan, Mufti of Tyre and Jabal Amel Sheikh Hassan Abdullah and chairman of Hezbollah’s executive council Sayyed Ibrahim Amin Al-Sayyed also condemned the Zionist regime’s recent invasion.
