Winners of Quran Memorization Contest Honored in Jordan

Winners of Jordan University’s Quran memorization contest were honored at a ceremony on May 6 in the capital Amman.
According to Al-Dastoor newspaper, the ceremony was organized by the Islamic Cultural Center of the university.
Top participants at the university’s cultural contest were also awarded at the program.
Ahmad Shokri, director of the center, announced Jeihan Al-Khatatabah and Mi’ad Al-Hutamalah as the first-ranked winners of the Quranic and cultural competitions respectively and Haleh Al-Hurani, deputy of the university awarded the winners and honored the members of the judging boards of the contests.
Quranic sciences, Hadith, Nabawi Seerah and Islamic culture were the categories of the cultural competition supervised by a group of the experts from the center.
Talking Quran copies, financial aid packages and Haj and Umrah pilgrimage packages were some of the prizes that the winners received.
