Quran Translated into Zazaki Language

The Holy Quran was translated into Zazaki, a language spoken in eastern regions of Turkey.
Ahmed Karkhan, a school teacher living in the city of Urfa, has translated the Holy Book, Al-Mihwar daily reported.
He said by translating the Quran, he aimed to help the speaker of Zazaki language better understand the teachings and commandments of the Holy Book.
Karkhan added that he also meant to help revive the language.
He said it took him 5 years to render the Quran into Zazaki and that he used numerous sources to translate the Quran.
Karkhan has also translated the book “40 Hadiths” by Abu Zakariya Yahya Ibn Sharaf Novi into Zazaki.
Zazaki is an Indo-European language spoken primarily in eastern Turkey.
