Second Muslim Youth Forum Will Take Place in Moscow This June
In the course of Moscow Halal Expo 2013, Second Muslim Youth Forum under the title of “The Muslim Youth of Russia in Today's Realities” will take place on June 15, 2013.
The event is organized by Russian Muftis Council with the assistance of Moscow City Government.
Muslim Youth Forum is set to become an effective platform for discussion for young Muslims with a pro-active stand willing to discuss and find practical solutions to the problems which the Muslim youth of Russia is currently facing. One of the forum’s goals is channeling the passion of Russia’s Muslim youth of Russia into constructive course, denunciation of extremist ideas and views, eradication of stereotypes, raising awareness and promotion of Islamic scholarship and ethics together with progressive thinking.
According to the organizers, the forum will bring up the following topics: “We Inside Society: Psychology of Behaviour”, “We in Mass Media”, “We in Social Sphere: It’s Our Time to Act”.
Famous public and religious leaders, media personalities, journalists, politicians and other notable people will share their practical advices with the audience, discuss problems and prospects of the Muslim youth in Russia. They will also tell about ways of becoming successful and which qualities a young Muslim must possess to make his voice heard. In addition to that, they will answer other questions of the younger generation.
Everyone willing to take part in the forum can register at the official web site. No other requirements are needed.
The event will welcome delegates from the World Forum of Tatar Youth, League of Muslim Youth (Kazan), Azerbaijani Youth Association of Russia, Union of Chechen Youth, Association of the Youth of Dagestan in Moscow, All-Russian Cross-National Youth Union, Russian Congress of the Peoples of Caucasus, Charitable foundation “Solidarity”, “Elbrusoid” and others.
At the end of the forum, a resolution will be adopted which is to become an operation directive for the Muslim youth of Russia.
