Training 10 Million Quran Memorizers requires Endeavors by Government, Cultural Institutions
In order for achieving the target of training 10 million memorizers of the Quran, there needs to be significant endeavors on the part of government and cultural institutions.
This is according to member of the Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Akbar Qureishi, who also told IQNA that efforts are underway by the Education Ministry as well as the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as part of the plan for training Quran memorizers.
Representative of the people of West Azarbaijan province in the Assembly of Experts said encouraging people to learn the Quran by heart helps to spread the Quranic culture in society.
He noted that with the plans underway in the country, the target of training 10 million Quran memorizers is achievable in a short period of time.
He also said memorizing the verses and Surah’s based on their order in the Quran is the easiest way to learn the Quran by heart.
