9th Int’l Conference of Mahdism Doctrine Slated in Tehran
The 9th International Conference on Mahdism Doctrine will be held in Tehran’s IRIB International Conferences Center on June 23-24.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Masoud Purseyyedaghayi, director of Mahdism Research Center and the Ayande Roshan Institute made the announcement in a press conference on Sunday, adding that the title of the 9th edition will be “Ground setting Tarbiat (upbringing), Strategies and Approaches”.
He said the theme of Tarbiat has been selected for the conference as it is a theme emphasized by the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader of the Islamci Revolution Imam Khamenei.
Hojat-ol-Islam Purseyyedaghayi further said awaiting the Savior imeans setting the ground for his reappearance and the mission of the Muntazirs (those awaiting the savior) is to materialize a ground-setting society.
“Tarbiat makes such a society and creates the required conditions for the Velayat and rule of Hazrat Hujjat (imam Zaman (may God Hasten his glad advent)).”
He added that the Ayande Roshan Institute has chosen the theme given the necessity of setting the ground for the reappearance of the Savior and the realization of the Muntazir society, as well as the importance status of Tarbiat.
The cleric noted that the conference papers will have three main topics, namely setting the ground for the reappearance of the Savior, Tarbiat and ground setting, and strategies and approaches.
He said so far 30 papers from Iranian scholars as well as 83 from other countries have been submitted to the secretariat of the 9th conference.
The deadline for sending papers is Wednesday, May 22, he said, predicting that the number of papers submitted by Iranian scholars will exceed 200.
Hojat-ol-Islam Purseyyedaghayi hoped that the 9th International Conference on Mahdism Doctrine will be held perfectly well and function as a thorn in the eyes of the enemies of Islam, especially the Wahabis.
