Great Strides Taken in Resistance, Islamic Revolution Literature
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution praised the great and inspiring strides taken in the field of resistance and Islamic Revolution literature.
Speaking on Monday in a meeting with the officials in charge of the Islamic Revolution’s literature and the literature and art of resistance, Imam Khamenei said these great strides along with preventing the anti-revolution currents from succeeding in isolation of the concepts and truths of the Islamic Revolution were among the major characteristics of the activities in the field of arts and literature.
His Eminence referred to attempts made by some so-called intellectual currents to reverse, hide and conceal the great and magnificent epic of the Islamic Revolution, and said that the clarification of the enormous cognitive and spiritual potentials of the Islamic Revolution by devoted artists changed the erroneous tradition found in the works of the so-called intellectuals.
Imam Khamenei added that this clarification also changed the trend of sticking to translated works and led to producing rich works in different literary and artistic fields.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution further underlined the need for enhancing research in the field of resistance and Islamic revolutionary literatures.
“This, of course, does mean restricting oneself to Western research methods but, in addition to using these methods, there should also be wise and intelligent innovations.”
His Eminence also highlighted the importance of conducting comparative studies about the Holy Defense and other contemporary wars as well as comparative studies between the Islamic Revolution of Iran and other great revolutions in the world.
Imam Khamenei noted that the Islamic Revolution has been more profound, stronger and more efficient than other great revolutions but has not been studied sufficiently unlike other revolutions.
His Eminence also stressed the need for translation of top works in the fields of Islamic Revolution and resistance literature into other languages and honoring valuable works in these fields.
