Bombings in Iraq's Mosques, Religious Centers Condemned

Head of Iraq’s Shia Awqaf Department slammed terrorist the recent bombings in mosques and religious centers in cities of Baghdad, Kruk and Dialy.
Seyyed Saleh Al-Heydari regarded the terrorist attacks by Takfiri groups as cowardly, Noon news agency reported.
“These blasts showed the hatred of criminal Takfiri groups toward the sanctities of the Iraqi nation,” he said, adding that the attacks targeted unity of the Iraqi people.
Mr. Al-Heydari warned against attempts by ultra-regional elements to provoke Fitna (sedition0 in the region, especially in Iraq, saying that these elements seek to destroy Iraqi nation’s national solidarity and unity.
He also urged the nation of Iraq to stay vigilant and try to strengthen unity in the face of seditious attempts.
Shia and Sunni scholars of Kirkuk province have also censured the recent suicide bombing in the southwestern area of the province.
They described the bombings as inhumane and stressed that terrorists do not show mercy to anyone, be it Shia, Sunni or Christian.
