300 members of the Armed Forces (both conscripts and cadres) are taking part in the contest that started Sunday morning.
They are the ones who have been selected in Quran competitions held by the Army, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Police Force, Defense Ministry, and the Headquarters of the Armed Forces’ Chiefs of Staff.
The participants compete in the categories of Adhan, Quran recitation (Tahghigh and Tarteel), memorization of 5, 15 and 20 Juzes (parts) of the Quran and memorization of the entire Quran, and Quranci concepts.
The two-day competition will wrap up on Monday and winners will be awarded at a ceremony on Tuesday, May 21.
