According to Dar Al-Khaleej newspaper, the contest began in a ceremony attended by Ibrahim Muhammad Bu Milha, head of the organizing committee of Dubai International Holy Quran Award.
The first day of the contest was held with the participation of teenagers under 15, and those aged 15 to 25 competed on the second day on May 19.
Adults aged above 25 competed on the third day, May 20.
The national Quranic contest will conclude in a ceremony on May 26.
