Kuwait's Assistant Secretary General of Arts and Theaters in the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) Mohammad Al-Asousi inaugurated on Tuesday a photography exhibition on Islamic Historic sites in India, taken by Indian renowned photographer Benoy K. Behl.
The exhibition, at Ahmad Al-Adwani Hall, was attended by Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Satish C Mehta.
The exhibition consist of 45 still photos which reflected on heritage and scenery in India, in addition to moving pictures on arts and Indian rich heritage, including Islamic Mughal architecture.
The photographs depict details of architects and nature throughout the years, in particularly the golden Islamic era in India.
Born in 1956, Behl has taken photographs in India and across the world.
He has photographed historic monuments, ancient art and ancient Buddhist paintings of India and he has also photographed Badami caves, Lepakshi Temple.
