Majlis Speaker to Officiate 9th Int’l Mahdism Doctrine Conference
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani will give a speech at the opening ceremony of the 9th International Conference on Mahdism Conference.
The conference will start at 8:30 Sunday morning, June 23, at the IRIB International Conferences Center in Tehran.
Secretary of the conference Hojat-ol-Islam Pourseyyedaghayi, Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University Ayatollah A’arafi, and Director of Islamic Seminary Ayatollah Hosseini-Bushehri will also address the opening ceremony.
“Ground setting Tarbiat (upbringing), Strategies and Approaches” will be the theme of the 9th edition of the international conference.
30 papers from Iranian scholars as well as 83 from other countries have been submitted to the secretariat of the conference, some of which will be presented at the event’s specialized committees
The two-day conference will conclude on Monday afternoon, June 24, with speeches by Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Vice-president of the Majlis Hojat-ol-Islam Abutorabifard and Lebanese figure Ali Al-Hajj Hassan.
