Elaborating on women’s role in disseminating Quranic culture, a Quran expert stressed the necessity of holding more Quranic forums for women to promote the level of the Quranic knowledge.
Fahimeh Sadat Mousawi, Quran activist and a judge of Quran competition in Khurasan Razawi Province told IQNA that Quranic Directors Forum is the fourth program organized for women this year.
She said that the first edition of specialized Quranic sessions for women was held last year in 60 cities of the province.
Five educational forums were also among the programs organized for women which were highly welcomed, she added.
The Quran expert also noted that “We have planned a number of specialized Quran memorization courses in the recent two years, taking into account the guidelines of the Supreme Leader to train 10 million Quran memorizers”.
She said that the first forum for directors of Quranic sessions is now underway in the holy Mosque of Jamkaran with the participation of 400 directors of Quranic centers in Khorasan Province.
The first day of the program was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi, Quran and Etrat Deputy of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance who talked about the important role that women play in religious training of children.
He added that traditional Quranic sessions held at homes are the best opportunity for dissemination of Quranic culture and directing the society towards the Quranic path.
Mousawi then added that some 1500 Quranic sessions have been identified all over the province, the directors of which have been invited to attend the forum in Jamkaran Mosque.
