Seeking Quran, Islam Common Point in Muslim Countries’ Islamic Awakening

Opposition to tyranny and foreign exploitation and seeking Quran and Islam are the common points in Muslim countries’ Islamic Awakening.
Judiciary’s first deputy Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raesi made the remark in a ceremony marking the anniversary of Ayatollah Beheshti’s martyrdom, adding that the message of the Islamic Revolution has reached other Muslim nations despite attempts by enemies.
He underlined that after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Muslim nations received the message of the revolution and regained their Islamic identity.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Raeisi said according to the Holy Quran, the root cause of all corruption is selfishness and self-centeredness.
He added that some people have surpassed their self and reached a lofty status and that Matry Beheshti and his companions were such people.
Ayatollah Beheshti the then judiciary chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with more than 70 other officials, were martyred in a terrorist bombing on June 28, 1981.
