This was announced by Hojat-ol-Islam Hossein Rohaninejad, cultural and propagation deputy of the Islamic Development Organization, who told IQNA that 45000 of the preachers are men and the rest are women.
He said they will go to cities and villages from Islamic seminaries to enrich religious programs organized in the holy month.
The official said the Islamic Development Organization sends preachers to various areas based on the needs of each area.
He went on to say there are 5000 preachers that stay in the places of their mission throughput the year as the mission is not limited to Ramadan.
Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims all around the world, will start on Wednesday, July 10.
