Rawalpindi Hosts Quranic Festival

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural House in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, plans to hold a Quranic festival.
The festival is organized from Thursday, July 18 to Monday July 22 on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the public relations and information department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Iran-Pakistan Persian Studies Center and the Arts Council of Rawalpindi will cooperate in organizing the event.
During the festival, rare copies of the Holy Quran, university dissertations on Quranic themes, Quranic art works will be put on display.
The event will also include Quran recitation sessions, poetry reading sessions and Quranic calligraphy.
There will also be a Quran memorization competition for women, featuring memorization of Surah Nour of the Holy Quran.
