Quranic Artworks on Display at Kabul Quranic Event

The 5th Bahare Quran (spring of the Quran) Exhibition is underway in the Afghan capital of Kabul.
It was launched at Masjid-al-Zahra Mosque in western part of the city on Monday, July 15, the sixth day of Ramadan, with the participation of religious scholars and cultural and political figures.
According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Quranic event will host visitors for 10 days.
It has been organized with the cooperation of Afghanistan’s Supreme Quran Council, the Dar-ol-Quran centers of the capital, and Quranic publishers and artists.
In a message sent to the opening ceremony, head of Afghanistan’s Shia Scholars Council Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Asef Mohseni congratulated the Afghan people on the occasion of Ramadan and urged them to make more endeavors in this holy month to get closer to God.
He encouraged people to visit the Quran exhibition that aims at promoting religious and Quranic teachings.
Iranian Cultural Attaché Nasser Jahanshahi addressed the opening gala, saying that the salvation of the Muslim Ummah lies in acting upon the teachings of the Quran.
He said Muslim nations can gain material and spiritual power through acting upon the Quran and strengthening unity and fraternity.
A number of Iranian artists are present at the exhibition presenting their Quranic artworks in three pavilions.
