Lebanese Nation Will Not Foregt Iran’s Supports in 33-day War: Nasrallah
Secretary general of Hezbollah resistance movement underlined that the Lebanese nation will never forget Iran’s supports for Lebanon’s resistance during the 33-day war.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made the statement in response to messages of congratulation issued by Iranian officials on anniversary of Hezbollah’s victory over the Zionist regime in the 33-day war, Al-Minar website reported.
He thanked Iran’s president, Majlis speaker, foreign minister and head of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission for their congratulatory messages.
He underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran played a significant role in bringing about victory of the Islamic resistance of Lebanon.
The congratulatory messages of Iranian officials were delivered to Nasrallah by Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi.
In his message, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the resistance movement’s victory in the 33-day war was achieved by Nasrallah’s heroic leadership, the resistance of the Lebanese nation, and the blood of martyrs.
Majlis speaker, meanwhile, in his message described the victory as an honor for all Muslim and freedom-loving nations and an example for nations to stand up against oppression and injustice.
