Organization of Tehran International Quran Exhibition is an effective measure in line with addressing Supreme Leader's Quranic concerns.
This is according to Ab-ol-Awaref al-Aribi, head of Bahrian’s pavilion at Tehran 21st International Quran Exhibition, who in an interview with IQNA also said that the exhibition is a great venue for getting further familiar with Iranian Quran activities.
He went on to add that so far the exhibition has been warmly welcomed by people thanks to Imam Khamenei’s instructions and statements.
The Bahriani activist further expressed hope for better organization of the exhibition in the coming years, adding that massive presence of people at the exhibition is attention-grabbing.
Asked about the strong and weak points of the event, he reiterated, “I have not noticed serious shortcomings and great efforts have been made in order to mount the exhibition optimally”.
Al-Aribi further touched upon the importance of promoting the teachings of the holy Quran across the globe and attached great value to the concepts of the Book of Allah.
Elsewhere in the interview, he said that “Quran and Islamic Awakening in Bahrain” has been selected as the slogan of his pavilion with the aim of focusing on the sufferings of the oppressed people of Bahrain.
The Bahraini uprising began in mid-February 2011.
The Manama regime promptly launched a brutal crackdown on the peaceful protests and called in Saudi-led Arab forces from neighboring states.
Scores of people have been killed in the crackdown, and the security forces have detained hundreds, including doctors and nurses.
Bahrainis say they will continue holding demonstrations until their demand for the establishment of a democratically elected government is met.
