Quran Exhibition to Open in New Delhi

A Quran exhibition will be launched in New Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islami university today, July 24.
It is organized by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural Center in cooperation with Noor Microfilm International Center, Zakir Hussein Islamic Studies Center and M.F. Hussein Gallery’s management, public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization reported.
Various Quranic artworks including calligraphy, Tazhib (illumination), book decoration, and Ghalam-zani is (engraving and embossing elaborate designs, patterns and shapes on metals) will be on display at the exhibition.
The opening ceremony will start at 6 P.M. this afternoon with the participation of K. Rahman Khan, India’s Minister of Minority Affairs, Iran’s Ambassador to India Gholam Reza Ansari and Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islami.
