Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will speak to the TV network on the anniversary of the resistance movement’s victory over Israel in the 33-day war, Libanon files reported.
Hezbollah defeated Israel in that war, which began on July 12, 2006 and lasted until August 14.
He will also deliver a speech this Friday, August 16, at a victory festival titled “Our Decision: Resistance”.
Nasrallah is expected to elaborate on Hezbollah’s stance vis-à-vis the recent developments in Lebanon, especially the recent abduction of a number of Turkish pilots in Lebanon.
Two Turkish pilots working for Turkish Airlines were kidnapped last week by armed men in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The kidnappers have said they will hold the pilots until the 11 Lebanese pilgrims captured in Syria's northern Aleppo province in 2012 are released.
The families of the Lebanese pilgrims accuse Ankara, which is a staunch supporter of the Syrian opposition, of stalemating the negotiations for the pilgrim’s release.
