US Aggression on Syria, Example of State Terrorism
Hezbollah Fraction in the Lebanese parliament said a possible US invasion of Syria would be a clear example of state terrorism.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, September 5, the fraction described such an attack as an obvious threat to regional and international peace and security, Al-Manar website reported.
The statement said the threats about aggression on Syria are condemned by all criteria no matter what the pretexts are.
It said the United States’ decision to attack Syria clearly indicates that the crisis underway in the country for two years has been a conspiracy plotted by the US to dominate the region.
The United States has threatened to conduct a limited military attack on Syria under the pretext of punishing Damascus accusing it of having launched a chemical attack on August 21.
Syria’s government has denied any involvement in the chemical attack, saying the rebels and terrorists that are backed by Western governments were behind it.
