Custodian of Imam Ali’s (AS) Holy Shrine Honored
In a ceremony in Beirut, Lebanon, the custodian of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine was honored.
Sheikh Zia Zainuddin was honored by Hamid Al-Khafaf, representative of grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani in Beirut.
A large number of scholars, religious figures and Muftis from different parts of Lebanon were present at the ceremony held at Imam Sadeq (AS) cultural center in Beirut.
Al-Khafaf in a speech praised the activities carried out by the custodian of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine.
Sheikh Zia Zainuddin also addressed the event, presenting a report about the accomplishments of the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine.
The Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine in Najaf attracts millions of pilgrims from around the world every year.
