Imam Khamenei Appoints New Custodian of Jamkaran Mosque

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei has appointed new custodian of the Jamkaran Mosque.
In a decree, Imam Khamenei appointed Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Rahimian as the mosque’s new custodian.
The Supreme Leader thanked the endeavors of Hojat-ol-Islam Vafi during his term as custodian of the mosque and wished Hojat-ol-Islam Rahimian well during his tenure.
His Eminence underlined that serving in the Jamkaran Mosque, which has an elevated and dignified status, is a blessing.
Imam Khamenei urged that in order to appreciate this blessing, efforts should be made to help the faithful visiting the mosque to make the most of its spiritual atmosphere.
The Jamkaran Mosque, which is located on the outskirts of Qom, 120 kilometers south of Tehran, is a popular pilgrimage site for Shia Muslims.
