Russian Muslims’ 1st TV Channel Airs Programs Online
The first TV channel of Russian Muslims has begun broadcasting programs via the internet.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, Rostam Aref Janov, editor in chief of the channel said that promoting unity among Muslims and Russian people with different religions and cultures is the main objective of the channel.
The channel airs various programs on Quranic issues, Nabawi Hadiths, lives of Muslims in Russia and other parts of the world, and introduction of eminent and great figures in the world of Islam.
Some of the programs of the channel particularly discuss the rights of parents, the value of family in Islam, training and educating children in view of Islam and the importance of learning and teaching.
The official said that the programs of the national channel which are broadcast 24 hours a day will also be aired via satellite channels in the near future.
