Nat’l Stage of Science Ministry Quran Competition Starts
The national stage of the Science Ministry’s Quran competition for university students began at Allameh Tabatabaee University in Tehran on Wednesday.
The opening ceremony of the competition’s 28th edition was attended by Quranic and academic officials and the contestants who had made it to the final stage.
Addressing the ceremony, Sahraei, secretary of the competition presented a report about preparations for the contest.
He said 280 individuals compete in the final stage in the written section, while the works submitted to the arts section are being assessed by the jury panel of the contest.
Sahraei noted that 18 sideline programs have been planned to be held for the contestants during the competition.
He also praised Allameh Tabatabaee University officials for their support for Quranic programs and activities.
