Quran Reciting Competition Began in Chechen Republic

Young Muslims from all over the republic who have graduated from religious schools participate the Quran reciting competition. The youngest of them is 9 years old.

According to the contest, each participant will have to answer three questions on Tajwid (the rules of the Quran reading), and on knowledge of the Holy Book by heart. It will be asked questions only from 10 juz during the first stage of the contest.
The competition will take place in three stages. The results of the first qualifying round will be announced on October 5. The organizers dedicated the event to the birthday of the Head of the Republic. The finalists will be determined in two months. It is planned to bring this competition to the international level in the future
