Winners of Science Ministry Quran Competition Awarded
Winners of the 28th Quran competition for university students were awarded in a ceremony on Friday, October 4.
The ceremony was held at Allameh Tabatabaee University on Friday morning with the participation of Quranic figures and science ministry officials.
Sahraee, secretary of the competition, in an address said that the competition was held in different categories like memorization of the Holy Quran, Quran recitation, Tarteel, and prayers recitation as well as written categories.
He said 300 students had made it to the final stage of the competition in the men and women sections, more than 100 of whom were selected as winners in different categories and sections.
Sahraee noted that the top winners of the competition will be considered elites and supported throughout their academic studies.
Salimi, chancellor of Allameh Tabatabee University, also addressed the event saying that all of the participants in the Quranic event are actually winners and will receive certificates of honor.
Later in the program the title winners received their awards and certificates of honor.
