Close Competition in Memorization Category, Says Bosnia’s Contender

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the memorization category of the 5th International Quran Competition for Muslim Students said the contest in this category is intense and close.

Sinaneddin Tatarevic told IQNA that the level of contestants in memorization is high and that selecting the top contenders would be difficult.
He further hailed the good organization of the contest as well as the presence of high-ranking Iranian officials in the opening ceremony. 
Tatarevic, who has previously taken part in international Quran contests in countries like Egypt, Croatia, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, also said that people have received the competition for Muslim students very well.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the 25-year-old Quran memorizer highlighted the role of the Quran contest for Muslim students in enhancing Islamic unity.
Tatarevic, who is a student of Arabic language and literature at the University of Sarajevo, has attended the contest for the second time. He represented his country in the third edition of the competition in 2010 as well.
The fifth International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students in underway at Milad Tower’s conference hall in Tehran with the participation of 66 Quran memorizers and reciters from 47 countries.
