According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Husseini holy shrine, the course began on January 6 and will continue until January 20.
23 Quran teachers from different provinces of Indonesia are taking the course.
Haj Muhammad Baqer Mansouri, general supervisor of educational courses organized by the Dar-ol-Quran Center, said that the main objective of the course is to develop Quranic educational programs in different parts of the country.
This edition of the course has been held in cooperation with 14 top Quran experts from seminary schools and religious institutes of Indonesia.
Instructions on principles of Quran recitation, Quran teaching methods, Quran memorization methods, memorization of the 30th Juz (part) of the Quran, and principles of Sowt and Lahn are included in the course.
It is a free course and the Astan of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine has also provided the participants with financial support during the course.
The Quranic delegation of the Astan has conducted various Quranic projects in Indonesia and other South East Asian countries in the last four years.
It has recently opened a branch of the Husseini Dar-ol-Quran Center in Jakarta.
