Khatm Quran in One Day

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Palestinian Quran memorizer managed to do Khatm Quran (complete reading of the Holy Book) in one day.

Ahmed Rizwan, who is a top member of the Quran Memorizers Society affiliated to the Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah Center in Gaza, read the entire Quran from early in the morning (after morning prayers) to Adhan Maghrib (evening), Safa news agency reported.
A number of Gazan Quranic officials and experts were present in the session.
The Noble Quran has 114 Surah (chapters) with different numbers of verses. There are a total of 6,236 verses in the Holy Book.
Previously, 42 members of Gaza Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah Center had read the entire Quran collectively.
