UAE’s Nat’l Quran Memorization Competition Concludes

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The final stage of the 16th edition of the national Quran memorization competition in the United Arab Emirates was held in Dubai.

According to Al-Bayan newspaper, the Organizing Committee of Dubai International Holy Quran Award organized this edition of the competition since February 23.

Quran students from different parts of the country competed on memorization of the entire Quran, and memorization of 20, 10, 5 and 3 Juzes (parts) of the Holy Quran.

Male participants’ competition concluded today, March 3 and the competition in the female group will conclude on March 4.

Winners of the competition in the male and female groups will be respectively awarded in ceremonies to be held on March 10 and 11.

The national competition was held as one of the 11 preliminary stages of Dubai international Holy Quran Award.
