Quran, Nahj-ul-Balaqa Copies Gifted to Austria’s Islamic Centers
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Austria has gifted 1300 copies of the Holy Quran and Nahj-ul-Balaqa to Islamic centers in the European country.
According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the copies included translations into different languages such as German, Turkish, English and Persian.
They were given to Islamic centers in different parts of Austria on the auspicious occasion of the birthday of Imam Ali (AS).
There are over 500,000 Muslims living in Austria, making up about 6 percent of the total population.
The Nahj-ul-Balaqa is a collection of sermons, precepts, prayers, epistles and aphorisms of Imam Ali (AS) compiled by al-Sayyid al-Sharif al-Radi about one thousand years ago.
