According to the center, Al-Huda Cultural-Art and Quranic Institute affiliated to the Iranian Cultural Center will organize the session in cooperation with Malaysian NGOs, Dar-ul-Tahfeez of the Holy Quran in the city and the Union of Students Associations in East Asia.
MCA Building in the capital city will host the program on May 16 to be attended by Iranian and Malaysian top Quran reciters.
Hashim Roghani, the second-rank winner of the international Quran competition in Malaysia in 1985, Mas’ud Sayyah Gorji, the first winner of the competition in 1982 and Mahdi Jowkar, Iranian eminent Quran reciter in Kuala Lumpur will participate in the session.
Wan Ainuddin Hilmi, Tirmizi Haji Ali and Anuar Hasin, will be the Malaysian Quran reciters of the program.
The program will also include Tawasheeh performances by an Iranian group of Al-Huda Institute and the Malaysian group called “Nasheed”.
It will be addressed by Aliakbar Ziyayi, Iranian cultural attaché in Kuala Lumpur, who will present a speech on the character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the unity of the Muslim Ummah and elaborate on the activities of the institute in Malaysia.
Directed by Ms. Mazraji, the institute has implemented various Quranic projects in cooperation with the International Dissemination Center.
