In a live speech broadcast by Al-Manar TV channel, Nasrallah also referred to the anniversary of Nakba (the day parts of Palestine was occupied by the Zionists) and said that the Nakba in Palestine is the result of the Ummah's defeat caused by the British and the Zionist scheme.
He said that al-Nakba “reminds us of the occupation of Palestine, displacing thousands of Palestinians in 1976 and establishing the Zionist current situation which conspired against and assaulted all the neighboring countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and others.”
Nasrallah pointed out that “we have to study the causes of al-Nakba and identify the responsibilities in order for the contemporary generations to learn from the past experience, which included the noble stances of the martyrs and comprised those who betrayed their Ummah for the sake of private interests.”
The Hezbollah leader underscored that the Takfiri plot is the new Ummah Nakbah (catastrophe) after the Palestinian one.
He stressed that the Takfiri Nakba is more serious than that of Palestine because the latter did not waste the Palestinian cause, while the former would do.
“The Takfiri groups will affect negatively all the nations where they exist, including those that support them.”
The United States has been plotting to fragment and destroy the Ummah through the Takfiri groups, he went on to say.
Nasrallah further referred to the situation in Yemen and reiterated his condemnation for the US-Saudi aggression, stressing that the aggression has failed to reach any of its objectives.
“The Saudi-led aggression has succeeded only to kill, destroy, and violate the sanctities by razing the shrines.”
He added that while the “barbaric and criminal Zionists did not destroy the shrines, the Saudis did not respect any limit.”
Nasrallah called on the Ummah to exert all the possible efforts to halt the Saudi attacks on Yemen.
