TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the recent terrorist bombing aimed at worshippers at a Shia mosque in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, during Friday prayers on May 29.

In addition to the suicide bomber, three members of the public were killed and four others were left injured in the attack.

OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani said that the failed bombing further unveiled the ugly face of DAESH (ISIL), which was responsible for the crime and which considers the shedding of innocent blood and the targeting of mosques on the blessed days of Friday as lawful.
Madani offered his sincere condolences and expressed solidarity with the families of those killed in the attack, while supplicating to God Almighty that He grants those injured speedy recovery.
On Friday, a bomb attack, claimed by the Takfiri ISIL terrorist group, targeted another Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia’s Dammam city in Eastern Province, with a confirmed death toll of four.
The assault came a week after a bombing hit a mosque in the al-Qudaih village in the province’s Qatif district, killing 21 worshipers, including two children.
The Takfiri ISIL terrorist group claimed responsibility for the May 22 attack as well.
