The organizing committee of the award, chaired by Ibrahim Bu Melha, said they have invited more than 120 countries for participation in the renowned competition held every year in Ramadan. “More competitors are expected to arrive soon.”
Dr Mohammed Abdulraheem, Head of the Researches and Studies Unit of the award, said this session will see six judges from different Islamic countries. “The cultural programme of the award will see the presence of 16 scholars, men and women.”
Bu Melha said the 19-lecture programme will take place in three different areas: the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (for men and women), Women Renaissance Society (for women only), and Social Reform Society (open for foreign communities).
“All lectures are slated to start at 10:15pm every night after the Taraweeh prayer.
