Iranian Qari’s Recitation Thrills Audience in Malaysia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s representative at Malaysia’s International Quran Competition was received very warmly by the audience.

According to IQNA dispatches, those who went to the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur to see the Quran contest were thrilled by Mohsen Hajihassani Kargar’s beautiful recitation Saturday night.

He recited verses from Surah Al Imran, beginning from verse 64.

Hajihassani Kargar’s recitation in the contest is said to have been the best performance by the contenders so far.

A number of Iranian Quran masters including Pourmoin, Badpa, and Fallah were also present at the venue of the competition.

Malaysia’s 57th International Holy Quran Recitation and Memorization Competition began in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

Quran memorizers and reciters from some 70 countries are attending the five-day Quranic event.
